Overview
OnlyNerds (https://onlynerds.win) is a free career intelligence platform for tech jobseekers. We do not require account registration, we do not collect personal information, and we do not sell any data to third parties.
This policy describes the limited analytics tools we use to understand how visitors use the platform so we can improve it.
Information We Collect
We do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII). We use two third-party analytics tools that collect anonymized, aggregated data:
Cloudflare Web Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure page views and traffic patterns. Cloudflare Web Analytics is designed to be privacy-first:
- No cookies are set
- No personal data is collected
- IP addresses are not stored
- Data is not shared with advertisers
- Compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and PECR
Data collected: page URL, referrer, country (country-level only), device type, browser type. All data is aggregated and anonymized.

Microsoft Clarity
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with the site through session recordings, heatmaps, and click analytics. This helps us identify usability issues and improve the platform.
Microsoft Clarity may collect:
- Mouse movements, clicks, and scroll depth
- Pages visited and navigation patterns
- Device type, browser, and operating system
- General geographic location (country or region level)
- Session duration and interaction events
Clarity does not collect passwords, payment details, or any form data you submit. Personally identifiable text visible on the screen is automatically masked.

Google Analytics (GA4)
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic, page performance, and visitor behavior in aggregate. This helps us understand which parts of the platform are most useful.
Google Analytics may collect:
- Pages visited and navigation paths
- Session duration and bounce rate
- Device type, browser, and operating system
- General geographic location (country or region level)
- Referral source (how you arrived at the site)
Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish users and sessions. IP addresses are anonymized by default in GA4. Data is processed by Google and subject to Google's data retention policies.

What We Do Not Collect
- Names, email addresses, or any account information (no sign-ups exist)
- Financial or payment information
- Precise geographic location
- Search queries you type on the platform
- Any data sold or shared with advertisers or data brokers
Cookies
OnlyNerds does not set first-party cookies. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookie-free by design.
Microsoft Clarity may use cookies or local storage for session recording continuity.
Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga and _ga_*) to distinguish users across sessions. These are analytics-only cookies and are not used for advertising. You can opt out via the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on or by blocking the script with an ad blocker.
Third-Party Links
OnlyNerds links to external job boards, learning platforms, and tools. Once you leave our site, this privacy policy no longer applies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third-party services. We encourage you to review their policies before providing any personal information.
Your Rights (GDPR, CCPA, and other regulations)
Because we do not collect personally identifiable information, most data rights requests (access, deletion, portability) do not apply to data held by OnlyNerds directly. For data held by our analytics providers, please refer to their respective privacy policies and opt-out mechanisms:

If you are a resident of California (CCPA), the European Union (GDPR), or any other jurisdiction with applicable privacy laws, you may disable analytics by using a browser extension such as uBlock Origin, which will block both Cloudflare and Clarity scripts entirely.
Children's Privacy
OnlyNerds is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy as the platform evolves. Any material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
